EMI, in the midst of its own management reorg, has settled its ringtone royalties lawsuit with Infospace, though the terms were not disclosed. EMI's publishing also alleged InfoSpace was selling expressly restricted songs, such as John Lennon's "Imagine," and selling ringtones in worldwide markets where it had not been granted license. read more »

Curators at a Waukesha museum have acquired the rights to an exclusive collection of original John Lennon artwork, as well as the microphone Lennon used to record his signature song, "Imagine." Local broadcasting legend Bob Barry also is loaning the museum a collection of memorabilia from the Beatles' 1964 visit to Milwaukee, which Barry hosted. read more »
