John Lennon Compilation Announced in Honor of His 80th Birthday

John Lennon and his 80th birthday this year will be celebrated with a new compilation set.

Due out on Lennon’s proper birthday on October 9, Gimme Some Truth: The Ultimate Mixes is the “definitive” best of set of Lennon’s solo work and featured 36 tracks that have been remixed from their original masters. A complete track listing can be viewed below.

Gimme Some Truth: The Ultimate Mixes will be available in the following physical formats: 2 CD, 2 CD/Blu-ray, 2 LP (which contains 19 tracks) and a 4 LP box set. Each of those sets is currently available for pre-order at UDiscoverMusic.com. Gimme Some Truth: The Ultimate Mixes is also available for pre-save on all major digital platforms here.
