Tenerife marks 50th anniversary of The Beatles' first visit

TENERIFE is celebrating the 50th anniversary of The Beatles' first visit to the island with a 13-day programme that will delight beatlemaniacs and music fans alike. 

From 27th April to 9th May 2013, the northern town of Puerto de la Cruz will host a great array of music concerts, film screenings and exhibitions, with the aim to honour one of the best British bands of all time.

Rare Beatles Vox Guitar on Display in Ireland April 16 - May 8

Newbridge Silverware Museum of Style Icons in partnership with Julien’s Auctions has announced an exclusive exhibition featuring a very rare Beatles guitar played by both John Lennon and George Harrison.

The rare Vox guitar played by both legendary artists is what true rock n’ roll is made of. The striking custom guitar built by Mike Bennett and Dickey Denney was gifted to “Magic Alex” Mardas by John Lennon in 1967.
