This book takes the reader through the sexual highlights (and lowlights) in the lives/careers of the Fab Four from adolescence to the present. It focuses mainly on the Quarry Men and Beatles years, but continues right through the solo era to 2013. Punctuated with illustrations featuring 'the luv bugs'. As humorous as it is salaciously informative, this account avoids opinionating and moralizing, and instead focuses on delivering the goodies ie. the juicy stuff. (Is sex a vital part of life? Was it especially so for the Beatles? Aren't you glad your parents had sex, at least once? Yeah, yeah, yeah!)

Learning about the fifth Beatle - Monday, April 28, 2014
Vivek J. Tiwary is the writer of the graphic novel, “The Fifth Beatle,” and a producer of many successful plays and musicals including “American Idiot” and “The Producers.” He will be writing the script to the film adaptation of his acclaimed book. Tiwary answered questions at WonderCon about his many accomplishments, the relevance of his work and answered if he ever met the living members of The Beatles.
The Daily Aztec: How did you become a producer? Vivek J. Tiwary: I was born in New York City and my parents were huge lovers of the arts. Ever since I was a little kid, they took me uptown to see ballet, opera, Broadway, etc. When I got older, I went downtown to places such as CBGB and The Ritz. I got to see early punk rock shows and early Sonic Youth. I grew up loving all the arts, not just avant-garde stuff, but also the fine arts and theatre. My Grandfather was a successful entrepreneur and a big influence on my life. He always said “you need to do what you love and you need to work for yourself.” I wanted to apply that to arts and entertainment, since that’s what I love. Producing seemed to me to be the element where I can have my hands on a little bit of everything in really creating a show.

17 Shocking Facts About The Beatles
The Beatles wanted to star in a film version of the Lord of the Rings. They wanted Stanley Kubrick to direct
Kubrick, of course is one of the best movie directors that ever lived. Some of his best known movies are '2001: A Space Odyssey,' 'A Clockwork Orange,' and 'The Shining.' When the film rights to The Lord of the Rings were sold to United Artists, The Beatles tried to jump on the opportunity to make a film about it. The Lord of the Rings was a huge hit with the '60s liberation movement and it makes sense that The Beatles would take interest in a project like this.
However, Stanley Kubrick had to turn them down. For him, the stories were impossible to capture on film. Indeed, the only projects based on the property were some mediocre animated movies for a long time, until Peter Jackson made the early 2000 versions. Peter Jackson later said that Tolkien had been against the idea of The Beatles being involved with such a project. Indeed, Tolkien was very protective of his IP and reportedly set up a clause that prohibited Disney from being involved in creating a movie based on his works.
