Sir Paul Mccartney was "extremely moved" by his fans' messages of support after his hospitalisation in Japan and is now "doing fine" following his return to London, according to a representative.
The Beatles legend was struck down with a virus after arriving in the Far East for a series of gigs, and he ended up scrapping his entire Asian tour when he was admitted to hospital in Tokyo. MCCartney was discharged from the facility and jetted back to London on Monday (26May14), and he is now said to be making a good recovery. In a monthly newsletter sent out to his fans on Friday (30May14), a representative for the star writes, "You may... have heard that Paul unfortunately had to postpone his dates in Japan and South Korea this month. We'd like to assure you that Paul is doing fine and he was extremely moved by all the messages from fans around the world. More info will follow on those dates, so please keep checking PaulMCCartney.com."

Please rest up... we'll wait. <3
He should be moved by unbelievable generousity and kindness of Japanese fans. They were noticed cancellation of the shows after opening the gate. Many of them came from the cities far away from the site by spending huge money for transportation and accomodation. Those extra charges cannot be paid back.
They were so worried about Paul's condition rather than their own fees.
People outside Japan just posted comments like "Come to our city! "
Illness is never fun, and the older one grows, the more serious and long the recovery can take. After this virus and the cancellations of the shows in Japan and Korea, one wonders if this next leg of the tour shall be Sir Paul's Final Tour. I will cherish the Lubbock concert just a short time away, who knows, it may be the last time we get to see Sir Paul perform in person.
I hope you are feeling well after your virus-attack. I have been a Beatle-fan since the beginning of your carrier. I was just about 8-10 years. So get a little rest now so you are feeling better.
